hehe.. finally finished all my assignments!!!! and ever since yesterday its been raining non stop.. but that sure can't dampen my mood.. been plagued by assignment for too long! feels so good now, i'm finally able to sleep properly! exams in 2 weeks from now.... but i don't care! lol
well, not yet anyway. =p
heres an update on the past couple of days~ (well actually its last saturday) celebrated mel's birthday at boatshed regatta! the service is really good. food also really good! just thinking about it makes my mouth water again :D~ haha.. i'm a pig... crap!
my phone takes lousy shots in the night.. this was taken thru amanda's camera.. lamp chops for entree~~ its the best. really!! i am so thankful i'm not vegan =x
rib-eye steak, baked potato & salad~ the steak looks alil small la... but its blardy thick can? but yea.. felt very carnivorous with all the meat.. (this is where guilt sets in) i really don't think i can lose weight ._. *sigh*

well then on sunday, me, ash, andrea & jx went to harbourtown to shop.. and sea world @ gold coast! it was all really rushed... missed a couple shows but... o wells, we still had fun!
the sesame street performance.. we decided that we were... too old. lol, sat down for like 5 minutes before we took out our maps and started running for the next dolphin show (which was quite a distance away) we're asians ma... got short legs... lol
saw dolphins along the way... and even after the show~
they are all really cute!! (which is why i bought grayden.. hee) most of them are actually rescued from the sea. half of me wish they could be set free.. yet another half of me feel they are really much safer here...
the show! it was awesome. really. ocean park in hong kong lose hands and feet down. man i wish i could watch it again. no, i wish i was in the water with them!!
then we also went to shark bay... another cool place!
there was someone cleaning the tank... my hp cam ain't doing the shark justice.. but the shark is damn huge ok.. heck its bigger than the guy wiping the tank! and u know whats worse? that big shark kept swimming to the poor fella. i think he's scared too...
me & shark. again my cam ain't doing the sharkie justice la.. i took this on a bridge. on a BRIDGE way above the water surface ok? and the tank is deep ok, i mean DEEP. so can u just imagine!? that blardy 
and then it was getting dark.. the whole place shuts down at 5pm.. 5PM!! the one thing i can never comprehand.. not enough time la!! me and andrea were frantic to take what rides we could before everything closes. the bermuda triangle was pretty cool.. and then this one was called cockscrew~ also not too bad, but really short. the rides here can't beat movie world... ash say the rides at dream world is best. i'm so gonna check em out in the hols XD
ok, so we were desperate to ride something. haha, can see jx on the back.. dunno what he's doing.. but basically we were all like kids playing on the carrousel... yes it was a very malu scene.. hahaha, the ride end already.. we still haven't take enough pics! can't believe we're all above 20.. lol~

had our final netball match on 20th may (tues) and we won 23 - 1!! quite a victory eh? it places us as third and sadly i found out later that there's no nike T-shirts afterall.. :(
only the top of the ladder gets em. but o wells... still happy to have won la ^_^
and then, on 22nd may, i 'celebrated' my lunar birthday by treating myself with good food @ wordsmith in uni. bo bian... so loaded with assignments.. i can't join ash and andrea t hanichi in the city T_T hopefully we can eat there soon...

EL property management screwed up. she was suppose to stay in 101.. but tim beat her to it by... a couple of hours. aww...after dinner we caught a ferry to southbank for chillout.. no pics here cos my phone camera sux at taking night pix. it was pretty nice.. we stayed for abt an hour or 2 before catching the last ferry back home. and @ home... more card games n drinks! lol.. it feels so much like its already the holidays.

then today i found a dvd in the library computer! it had some korean and english documents.. of which i gave to the library helpdesk.
then while walking home, i came across a student card. o_o!!
but i was too lazy to walk back to give to the helpdesk @ library.. so i thought i'd just do it tomorrow.. seeing how i'd need to return to school to hand in my late assignment anyway..

ok, i'm feeling miserable and just trying to be funny.
am wondering if i should quit the TEHL committee. long story, but basically, i don't wanna be in it anymore. if i do stay, its just to give someone 'face'. then again, if its not appreciated, i shouldn't bother right?
my assignment is still nowhere near completion. ahhhhh!!!!!
we lost.. in netball.. against a team called multiple scoregasm. wth!! :( they were all pretty tall.. and it was hard passing balls and scoring. actually i didn't really get that many balls passed to me. those that were, kept slipping outta my hands... am angry n disappointed with myself..
i wonder how people think of me and my reaction. on the court, jorno tried 'calming me down'... i wasn't really that angry.. but the umpires at our match were crap. there was so much contact and they didn't called for much. so what i do? of course i retaliate right? got called 2 times for it after that ._.
then there's this girl that came to support.. she also ask me to relax and calm down.. i think cos i shouted at louis to pass the ball to me.. of which he didn't. everyone passes the ball to jorno. even i do too, cos he's like our tallest member, he can jump and he's good. but sometimes, i'm open but no one sees me :(
was alil more comforted when charles n amanda dropped me a msg.. i really wonder what the rest of the team thinks of me.... and also, how i can look less angry? i mean, i might be alil angry... but i'm not that angry really...
sigh, the flu and scrapped knee ain't helping.. seems like awhile since our team suffered from injuries.. hopefully we'll be able to play against the nerds who score next week. its either them, or horny gorillas. but it seems alil more significant to play against the nerds who score cos they were our 1st opponent since the netball season started. and i think, we lost by 2 points that time..
alrites, enough of netball... emotionally i'm beat as well.
i'm tired with my assignments and so is alex stressed with his exams i guess? nomatter what our relationship is, i still hope he'll do well.. we had this strain as he became moody on me and asked for more care and concern. so i try, and ask how he's doing, but only to get the cold shoulder treatment. i wasn't expecting anything warm and fuzzy tho.. so i guess this is the best.
he hasn't called or msged me in quite a long while. which, is good too.. perhaps he sense that its really the end for us? i dunno.. but now that we're talking on the phone like strangers... breaking up seems easier. the hard part, will be meeting him when he comes to aus.
sigh.
i am so not in the mood of doing assignments now. it's due tomorrow, and i still haven't finished reading my articles. 2000 words. i feel screwed.

it was pretty fun, tho we all just went round and round the circle.. and then there was a game time! the staffs would play tag with u and i got out at round 4.. so cool la, they should do this in sg!! haha, and after that, the lights went out and there was disco music and coloured lights.. we were late and were suppose to leave early to catch the bus (which only comes hourly) but we really just had to stay longer... till it was closing time...
the ring is so empty without ppl... and then since we missed the 10pm bus, we had time to spare.... and we crashed into charles place! haha, poor charles.. got dragged back to the city to have supper with us and together with jorno, they crashed into mel's place... i got home at like close to 2am.. man if it was the hols i'd go over and play :(

(or maybe cept for the head that was always in my line of vision) the pic is taken before the performance so the peeps re just warming up in their own clothes.. and its taken in a slip slop manner cos i didn't think photography is allowed, so yea, its taken in secret and in a hurry too! stupid sony ericsson phone can't take SILENT pics. theres always the 'snap!' sound! argh.... miss nokia....
but all in all it was pretty good. maybe not really worth my $34, but it still made me wanna dance. i wanna learn to dance!

me and sam presented with our uber expensive poster (it cost $46!!) so it is of coz expected that our poster looked damn kick-ass! but sadly, i staggered alot while presenting cos i was so nervous. the practicing just don't really work on me.... sorry sam ._.
o wells... after tmr's proposal, i'll be left with 1 more essay, 1 report and 1 group proposal presentation.. and 2 exams on the 13th and 18th of june. its pretty fast how the semester is already coming to an end eh?
netball season is coming to an end too... dang someone called me this morning but i had to forego work tonight cos i need to rush the proposal... but i also just realised from the induction training that with my staff card, i'll be entitled to free access to the gym and pool! cool eh? its damn ex one ok! hahaha~ kiasu singporean coming out...

been working on my sponsorship proposal for some time now and the progress is unfortunately slow as i've been procrastinating...
i just started on it couple days back, deciding to feature the national inter-varsity polytechnic wakeboarding championships with banana boat as my sponsor. and i thought, great with that settled, all i need is to do further research and back the proposal with shitloads of crap.
but then!
although i've found the event i'm planning to represent... this took up quite a bit of my time.. and then researching on it... it didn't occur to me that its not the event that'll give me a problem... but my sponsor! i'm just alil confused over who bought over who. so playtex product inc. now holds the patent for banana boat, but did energizer holdings bought over playtex? and where does sun pharmaceuticals corp come in? @_@"

and even though i already told him i'm busy, he can still ask me to chill and say he's got alot of things to tell me about sentosa! hello hello!! i'm busy!!! already tell you i'm rushing something... so nvm, of cos i never shoot him la... i try to be patient and listen u know? in the end, there wasn't anything about sentosa he had to tell me also! and... he.... just.... kept.... going.... about himself......

from a 5 min conversation, he asked for another 5mins and it became over half an hour! of which i found out he's going to my church... saying how he's not just going for the sake of going, that he wants to understand christians and christianity more, yada yada yada...
so i test water, and i told him i was planning to go to another church when i return to singapore. suddenly reaction change! haha, it is not a lie really, i do have plans to go to amanda's church which is nearer to my new house and has english service at like 10am, which is also later than my old church one. travelling isn't as taxing and i don't mind going alone. i really wasn't growing spiritually in my old church...
if alex really becomes a christian, of course i'll be happy for him. if his conversion is true and he continues to go to my old church, good for him! just don't expect me to be there. if he doesn't go because i'm not there, i guess we can see what his original intentions are! don't go rallying the people from my church to back u up man! if we're gonna break up in july, the last thing i want, is to keep bumping into him too. i need a total break from him!
sigh... though maybe he'll be different if he really becomes a christian la... no.... i shan't go there. cat, stop thinking about this crap, u've got assignments to worry about.

there was a last minute change of venue from the convention centre to garden city church. from zone 1, suddenly become zone 4!!thank god thats the church charles go to and he could gave us directions~ if not the bulk of us sure get lost... even if we got on the bus, i'm very certain i wouldn't ever know where to stop ._.
the bus journey wasn't really THAT long... and it was actually even shorter on the way back i think? i dunno, or maybe it seemed shorter cos i got a scare in the bus by a moth. made it really 'happening' in the bus. sooo malu...
there was a really big crowd when we got there.. i think the auditorium fit over 1,000 people!
as u can see, i was seated right at the back... but its ok! their sound system was great :D
both bands were really good~
love hillsongs even more now.. haha!
when we got back to the city, most of the guys went to catch the soccer match between man u and west... somthing. haha, while me, cheryl, amanda and al went to pancake manors! shared a basket of wedges and i had waffle ice cream... super yum!
so much for trying to lose weight.. haha..
now i just wish i can catch a movie with all of em on monday... stupid assignments!! why do queenslanders celebrate labour day on the 5th of may!?! argh.
